For City Works Disney Springs, partnering with the Disney Day Drinkers Club unlocked a new kind of growth, one rooted in shared experiences, consistent meet-ups, and real-world connections that extended far beyond social feeds.
The Opportunity

People naturally connect over food and drinks, especially when there’s a shared passion involved. The Disney Day Drinkers Club, a community of more than 135,000 highly engaged Disney fans, was built around that simple idea: gathering together to enjoy drinks, Disney, and the experience of being fans together.

City Works Eatery & Pour House, a Bottleneck Management brand, is built for that same kind of gathering. At the City Works Disney Springs location, the overlap was immediate: a social, experience-driven audience already looking for a place to meet up, and a venue designed to bring people together around beer, conversation, and shared moments. That alignment created an opportunity to go beyond a traditional brand partnership and build something more intentional.

Rather than treating Disney Day Drinkers as occasional guests or content creators, we formed a true partnership that positioned City Works as a consistent meet-up spot for beer lovers (and for those who like their happy hour with a little bibbidi-bobbidi-boo 🪄).

The Strategy

Building a Scalable Partnership Content Engine
We developed a social-first partnership strategy designed to go far beyond one-off posts. The goal was to create a repeatable, high-impact content engine that delivered consistent awareness, foot traffic, and community engagement.
By aligning City Works’ brand voice with the Disney Day Drinkers Club’s audience, we positioned City Works Disney Springs as a natural extension of the community, a place to meet up, celebrate, and connect in real life.

Weekly Giveaways
We launched a recurring Facebook giveaway tied directly to Disney Day Drinker’s City Works’ Friday happy hour posts. This giveaway happens directly in the group’s channel, creating a dependable content cadence that reinforced habitual engagement, increased brand recall, and encouraged in-venue visits.

Collectible Challenge Coins
To deepen community participation and spark real-world interaction, we co-created limited-edition City Works and Disney Day Drinkers challenge coins. These highly collectible and tradeable tokens were designed to:

    • Encourage repeat visits
    • Spark conversation among fans
    • Strengthen emotional brand connection

From concept and design through launch strategy and promotion, we partnered in execution end-to-end.

In-Person Activations
Each challenge coin release was supported by coordinated launch parties at City Works Disney Springs, creating moments that blended digital coverage with real-life experiences.

Content didn’t stop at the event. We captured in-venue energy, fan excitement, and behind-the-scenes moments to fuel ongoing social storytelling and extend the lifespan of each activation.
