When we first partnered with SCCU, their social presence was primarily focused on recruiting via LinkedIn, while competitors had been using multi-channel efforts to build online brand equity for years. We recognized an opportunity to expand SCCU’s reach and engagement, building a strategy to catapult them ahead and drive awareness, deepen trust, and create a space to connect with all members.

Built a presence from the ground up
We built a refreshed presence across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn—establishing a distinct tone, purpose, and content strategy aligned to specific audience goals.

Established a scalable content strategy
We anchored our approach in four foundational pillars—Promotional, Educational, Inspiring, and Entertaining. But to bring those to life in a way that was relevant we mapped every post to six content themes.

Made it human
We produced quarterly content shoots to build an evergreen library of authentic, high-quality photo and video assets—featuring real SCCU team members and real stories.

Prioritized connection
Social media is built on two-way communication, so we implemented a full engagement strategy—monitoring comments and DMs daily, responding in real time, and proactively starting conversations to strengthen relationships and grow the community.

Stayed ready with ‘always-on’ moderation
For a brand built on trust, it’s critical to handle social conversations with care. We implemented a real-time moderation and escalation process that ensured every member message was met with thoughtful, timely, and human support—protecting SCCU’s reputation while prioritizing member experience.

Activated timely social campaigns
We launched targeted giveaways, leveraged Watchdog as a member-favorite brand asset, and delivered content that felt both polished and personal.

Leaning into the Dolphins partnership.

With a major NFL partnership on our hands, SCCU and &Barr worked together to turn the Dolphins collaboration into real-time content fans actually wanted to engage with.

Here’s what we did:

  • Captured live content at the SCCU booth and tailgate during a Dolphins home game to fuel social media content throughout the season. 
  • Shared behind-the-scenes Instagram Stories from the game to humanize the brand and engage fans in real time
  • Rolled out a Watchdog x Dolphins giveaway, driving over 600+ engagements and hundreds of new followers
  • Built a content library of evergreen Dolphins-themed assets for future marketing efforts and social campaigns

The result? A high-visibility activation that merged brand fandom with financial relevance—right where members were already watching.
