&Barr CSO 2025
Community Impact Report
By: Shelby Eiger, PR Account Supervisor
As we publish our 2025 Impact Report, we’re proud to reflect on the continued growth and momentum of our Corporate Social Opportunity (CSO) program. This year marks our third full year of intentionally investing our time, talent and treasure into the communities and causes that are part of our program.
Inside the report, you’ll find an updated snapshot of our collective impact. From volunteer hours donated across our communities, to time spent investing in the future of our industry, to service on nonprofit boards and committees, as well as financial and in-kind contributions made throughout the year, together, these efforts represent the heart of our CSO program and the shared commitment of our team.
Our goal remains unchanged: to lead with gratitude and inspire other organizations to give back in meaningful, sustainable ways. We believe this is not just a nice-to-have, but an opportunity to create lasting impact while strengthening culture and purpose.
If your organization is exploring how to build or evolve a CSO program, here are a few of the best practices that continue to guide our success:
• Each quarter, &Barrians receive eight hours of Volunteer Time Off (VTO).
• We encourage team members to dedicate half of their VTO to nonprofits within our CSO program, while using the remaining hours to support causes aligned with their personal passions.
• With so many worthy causes, focus is essential. At &Barr, we align our support with our mission, values and legacy through three guiding pillars. Past, Present, and Future. By concentrating our efforts, we’re able to deepen our relationships and maximize our impact.
To learn more about how &Barr structured our CSO program, we invite you to read our blog post announcing its formalized launch in 2022. And if you’re interested in developing a customized Corporate Social Opportunity program for your organization, we’d love to connect.
